alrighty

in 12 hours from now i will be waking up and getting ready for almost 24 hours of flying time. i'm packed now, or, i suppose i am. tom is taking up the rest of my suitcase space anyway so i guess if i find i need something i'll just have to go buy it.

cat food has been purchased, and instructions for using the tv and heater have been handed out.

eli just let me know that 'when you go away and then you come back again i'll give you a kiss and i'll give you a cuddle, ok mum?'

we had a nice afternoon down at the beach today. building castles, writing our names in the sand, collecting cockle shells and cuttlefish. it was nice to spend some good time with the boys before i go. right now they're too interested in playing with gravel. sometimes you just cant compare with rocks and dirt.
