zis is not charming!

so, every morning i have a bowl of hot chocolate, and i dip fresh croissants or pieces of baguette into it and then i drink it all down. you are all so very jealous, so sucked in. i dont even feel hungry until about 2 oclock, even with all the walking ive been doing. that may also have something to do with the fact its SO FUCKING HOT its unbelievable. all week its been unbearably hot, especially on the trains. florent said its 50 degrees inside some trains. no wonder so many old people are dying. looks like today is only 27 so thats a lot better. its not so much the sun thats hot, like in australia, its the air all around you. everything is hot.

so, monday. we caught the train and then the metro to have a look at some markets. one was just little and crappy and onmy had new stuff like indian clothes, japanese toy dogs that do flips and dodgy guys holding handfuls of sunglasses, but the second one was really cool. there were still the clothes, dogs and sunglasses, but there were also what looked like the contents of somebodies shed or spare room. as we walked further along, the covered stalls disappeared and turned into sheets on the ground, covered with batteries and broken glasses. there was even a guy trying to sell one shoe. when you move from one district to the next as much as we did during this week, you see how different people have it. we went from there to one of the trendy trendy streets in paris and its unbelievable.

another thing thats unbelievable is how many people smoke, and where they do it. we stopped in at a bar/cafe for a drink, and people were sitting at the bar, smoking, and when they finished they just drop it on the floor. they dont even put it out. i was appalled. tom just laughed.

we walked along the sienne towards notre dame. did i mention it was hot? im not sure that i did. here, heres a photo of tom and i and you can see how hot it was

while at notre dame i saw four people wearing red and white stripey tops. not one of them was french.
when they say how far something is out of the centre of paris, they measure it from notre dame, which is point zero. the centre is all worn down because people spin on it. i didnt spin on it. i really dont know why i didnt.

inside notre dame its very cool and dim, and there is a place where you can light candles for people

this one is mine

what has append to ma penis!? zis is not charming!

and tomorrow, le tour eiffel
